1 lb. TAHITIAN Gourmet (Small) Vanilla Beans

IndriVanilla Tahitian beans are small but tenacious vanilla beans! Unlike our Indonesian vanilla, they are not bourbon vanilla beans but instead, Tahitian vanilla, or Vanilla tahitensis. Tahitian vanilla is known for its bright and fruity vanilla qualities. Gourmet-grade Tahitian vanilla beans are approximately 10-15 cm (4-6 inches). Gourmet-grade vanilla beans may vary considerably in thickness (plumpness), length, and density of caviar. These beans are best for making vanilla extract and food items where vanilla/vanilla bean is a complementary or secondary flavor. These beans are offered as a service to our customers who seek inexpensive Tahitian vanilla and are not grown on our farmer's plantation, and we are unable to verify whether they are fair-trade or organically grown.
