Premium (Medium) Vanilla Beans (each)

IndriVanilla premium beans are slightly smaller versions of our ultra-premium vanilla beans. They are full-bodied, natural Bourbon vanilla beans (Vanilla planifolia). They are grown, harvested, and cured in small batches by a farmer's co-op on the island of Java in Indonesia. IndriVanilla purchases direct from the farmer at fair trade prices. We guarantee they are fresh, flavorful, and fragrant. The glossy black beans are soft and pliable--no brittle beans here! Premium vanilla beans are approximately 14-16 cm (5.5-6.5 inches). They are grown organically without pesticides, herbicides, or synthetic chemicals, but due to the small operation, are not certified organic. Premium-grade vanilla beans may vary considerably in thickness (plumpness) and density of caviar. These beans are best for making vanilla extract and food items where vanilla/vanilla bean is a complementary or secondary flavor.
